ENTRY RECOVERED

A/V RECORD [5518]

AMURIN // CELL 1-3A // EMERSON VAULTER

#AB: Allison Barty, beginning interview with Fractured terrorist group member Emerson Vaulter, intercepted en route to Parabus orbit sector A53. Present with me is Seeker H-Three.

#HT: Care to tell us why you were out by Parabus?

#EV: Shove it, Seeker.

#HT: We’re only here for answers, Emerson.

#EV: Oh, of course. And throwing me into a cell to starve for a week is definitely helping me. You think I give half an ass about what you want now?

#AB: You will, lieutenant.

#EV: Wow, so scary. Using my old rank against me?

#HT: We aren’t here to discuss your desertion, we’re here to talk about your plans.

#EV: You give yourself too much credit, thinking you’re solving everything.

#AB: You were found in a stolen Spearhead class fighter in a CAF sector!

[Silence]

#AB: So, what? You going to sit their dumb! What about all those deaths you have to answer for!

#EV: Don’t blame those on me, isn’t my fault your pilots can’t outfly Sirens.

#AB: You smug-

#HT: Outside, captain. I have no patience for hot-headedness.

#AB: You’re kidding, I don’t-

#HT: Outside.

#AB: Damn Seekers, think you can all run the show.

[Door slammed, Allison Barty absent]

#HT: Now, lieutenant, tell me the real reason you were out there.

#EV: I h- I have nothing for you, Seeker.

#HT: No? Interesting.

[Seeker H-Three stands, approaches camera]

%%ERROR%% $V CORRUPTED

#HT: Fractured are stubborn, but I find they take relatively little to break.

#EV: Wait, I don’t know-

#HT: Oh, but you do, lieutenant. And so, I shall break you like the last of your cohort. You will tell me why the Fractured follow us so doggedly in the Drift, and what this Equinox signal is.

#EV: WAIT!
